TODAY'S THE DAY, Friend!

If you're looking for a way to promote social justice TODAY, support social justice leaders.

We've shared how current LVC Volunteers have been building strong house communities supported by mentors, alumni, and support congregations in all LVC cities. How they've committed to living simply and sustainably together, while serving at LVC's Placement partner organizations.

And how LVC Volunteers grow in the program as social justice leaders during their year of learning -- with your support.

A great example is Jeffrey, serving at our founding congregation, Luther Place in Washington, DC. Last month, Jeffrey led our monthly program day series on Spirituality and the Intersection with Social Justice. He offered thought-inspiring questions about the visual depiction of Jesus by different cultures over time, and our need to see spirit in our own image. Jeffrey had a powerful message for our emerging leaders who will go into the world valuing differences, and inclusion. Jeffrey's takeaway:

"Presenting is sharing enough information to plant the seed of a conversation and let the audience take it from there."

Today is #GivingTuesday and we need your help. Donate now on our secure DONATION PAGE to show your support for emerging leaders like Jeffrey, and the cohort of LVC Volunteers learning to be social justice leaders.

A more just future for all,
