LISTEN Countdown to the hike with Barry's Podcast Recommendation on the great outdoors

While on his treadmill, LVC alum Barry Friswold '84/85 (photo at right at the Arnold Arboretum) was inspired by the podcast, Vin Shambry's “outdoor school” adventure.  It reminds him of his days volunteering with homeless individuals and families in need at Bread For the City in Washington, DC. The outdoors moves and heals us, no matter what age.  Barry will be leading a hike in Boston, MA, so pull your people together for your outdoors hike-a-thon, and check out Barry's podcast recommendation at The Moth to get motivated.

Thrivent members can apply to receive a kit with name tags, stickers, t-shirts, and up to $250 to support your hike project. Visit Thrivent Action Teams for more information.
