Holiday Greetings, Friends!

This holiday season, unleash your generosity to grow leaders in the social justice movement.

LVC Volunteers, all 16 of them, are having a strong year living in community in DC, Baltimore, and Minneapolis. Staff checked in with Placement supervisors and found them enthusiastically committed to mentoring, providing ample opportunities for Volunteers to grow beyond their service year positions. Volunteers are moving into mid-year embracing the usual challenges of living together; and now, leading program days to expand learning together as leaders.

Cassie and Caleb (LVC '16) married after meeting at LVC. They both came back after becoming alumni, Caleb as staff member and Cassie as board chair. Both moved from Volunteer lessons learned, to the real-life challenges of leadership.

Social justice in practice is hard. And rewarding. And creates the world we want to live in. Your donation helps alumni like Cassie and Caleb look back and live forward; and helps current Volunteers prepare to live out LVC values. Cassie says:
