CHURCH SUPPORT Lord of Life, Schaumburg IL Since 1995, Lord of Life Lutheran Church has donated over $33,000 to sustain LVC's unique program that welcomes Volunteers from diverse faith backgrounds, opening the door to conversations around community and spirituality. Church gifts are sustaining gifts, ensuring LVC's ability to offer a program at no cost to Volunteers; advance LVC's values around inclusive community; and serve as a launchpad for Volunteers discerning seminary (this year there are 11 of 35 Volunteers). As LVC re-grows our Local Support Networks, we're so pleased that Chicago alum Cindy Larsen '83 visits annually with Lord of Life on behalf of LVC to deliver the LVC president's update to the congregation. Cindy helped us celebrate Lord of Life on December 5 with an update on the LVC program and a Certificate of Appreciation honoring the relationship. To Lord of Life we offer our heartfelt blessings.
